On a sunny day this place is diamond with plenty of benches to sit out on. Punters range from families and friends to couples enjoying a quiet drink.

Superb pub
They redid this pub a year or so ago and it's one of the best. Tucked away, quiet and old fashioned from the outside, the place has a really nice vibe. There is loads of parking in the car park attached and, when the summer kicks in, there's tonnes of outdoor space and seating. The food is fab, with lots of classics (burgers, steaks, roasts) all well cooked and for reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place as one of the nicer, more peaceful pubs in the area.
