January can be a depressing month. You're back at work, the weather is grim and those Christmas bills are rolling in. So, what better way to banish the January blues than a night on Enfield town?

If cash is tight and you're on a limited budget, you'll find plenty of affordable places in Enfield for cut-price cuisine or a budget beverage. Here are some of our favourite local deals:

The pubs-and-bars/pubs/Fallow-Buck/business-9241110-detail/business.html">Fallow

Buck has a weekday dining deal of £9.99 for two courses and £11.99

for three every Mon-Thurs.

The Toby Carvery on Cambridge Road serves lunch every day except Sunday for just £5.25, while a four-roast Sunday carvery will set you back just £9.25.

Prezzo were doing two courses and a drink for a tenner but think it might have finished now. Lovely place though and great value for money.
