I went there this weekend with a storming hangover and was pleased to get the most comfy sofa in the world and a not so packed pub. The young guy behind the bar was utterly inept, although cheerful with it. If he can learn to remember 3 drinks for more than 5 seconds they could be on to a winner.

Better ale and chaper than the Cricketers too!

went there saturday before last and was impressed with the make over. Spot on about the barman though - good job they weren't too busy! But nice atmosphere and beers excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely revisit
