Writing this as a parent. I beleive that parents need a bit of education to be able to help the young ones progress in life. I have a Hons Degree but feel a but rusty and out of date in regards to how i should help my child learn the correct way. Heres a very simple example, we all write say a word and enourage the child to copy, but the teacher the school said we should encourge the child to have ago! as this build confidence. which i agree with but did not realise until being told.
