STOP ENFIELD COUNCIL EXTENDING "THE TOWN " CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE

Residents of Enfield Town will have just received details of proposed changes to parking restrictions, meaning that 100's of residents would have to pay on average £100 per car to park outside their own front door ??? Plus £1-50, for every time they have a visitor. In most of the roads affected their is no real parking problem at all, this is just an excuse to raise money for the council. Show your opposition to the extended CPZ by emailing JMP Consultants : leslie.gamadeku@jmp.co.uk or telephone 020 7536 8060.

Make sure all your neighbours in the affected roads do likewise, it can be stopped. Also spread to other sites & threads. The internet is probably the best way of stopping this.

We seem to be living in a community that have lost its tongue or have a problem with mind control, no wonder the local authorities and local government get away with doing nothing and get what they want.

I don't know if you all remember that wonderful guy that use to stand at the corner of Church Street meeting the Cambridge Road in front of that tiny park waving at everybody. We probably need to stand there with a big placard saying please join Enfield People. Com, and let's wake up the dead. We may get more results from the cemetery opposite that most of our relatives and family are in.

Local authorities are nothing more than a bunch of corrupted parasites, if they get any worse will be run by a bunch of Nazis, now that Iceland banks are down I wonder where they are going to hide the money next.

Thank you for your input Chrisucl, but there would be more chance of the powers that be reading individual emails that are different. After all people will dislike or like the proposals for differing reasons, all voices should be heard.

I am guessing that the whole thing has been created by the short-sighted people whose main concern is that they sometimes have to walk a few yards from their parked vehicle to their front door. These people forget that the road they park on is a PUBLIC road that belongs to everyone, whether they live in it or not. I find it incredulous in this day & age that people still think the space outside their house is theirs. I bet these same people never consider where they are parking when they go somewhere else ???

Further parking restrictions will damage business, which Enfield Town or indeed the economy in general cannot afford.

It would be great if you could edit your post to include a standardised text which people could copy and paste and email to the relevant authorities. This would mean less effort for people to protest, making it more likely that they do so.
