The riots that have hit London since police fatally shot Mark Duggan on Thursday night have moved to Enfield at the weekend.
-
Riots started in north London after Mark Duggan was shot by police.
Shops have been looted and building set on fire as up to 300 people rioted in Enfield on Saturday night and into Sunday.
Police used police dogs, batons and riot shields in an effort to regain control of the streets.
Protests kicked off in north London after 29-year-old Mr Duggan was shot dead by police.
The father-of-four's brother, Shaun Hall, has called for calm.
Mr Hall told television reporters that he did not want any rioting carried out in his brother's name.
"The family's devastated. We don't want Mark portrayed as some kind of gangster. He was a good man, a family man," he said.
"We do not condone what happened, we are peaceful people."
Violent scenes are still taking place across north London and have also now spread to south London, including Brixton, where buildings have also been set on fire.
Have you been affected by the rioting? How do you think police are handling the situation?
Comments
We are fortunate that the rioting is over, but the injured an elderly cannot riot against a corrupted legal system, it is up to you all to fight for a just legal system before it happens to you.
They are taking over the lives or shall I say the estates and compensation of injured victims and the elderly from their family and leaving them to die without any control of their money or compensation.
