An Enfield table tennis club is looking for new members.

The 3Es Table Tennis Club meets on Wednesday nights from 5- 8pm at Boundary Hall at Snells Park , Edmonton and is a community based club run by parents, volunteers and members. Everyone aged seven and over is welcome.

It's £2 a session, and anyone coming along will have a chance to have fun, be coached and have the chance to compete in tournaments including the North Middlesex League. All the coaches are ETTA qualified to Levels 1 and 2.

Cllr Christine Hamilton, Cabinet Member for Community Safety said ""The 3Es table tennis club is a fantastic community resource and I'm delighted Enfield Council has decided to support it financially.

"This is yet another example of a first rate leisure facility provided for young people in our borough which keeps them off the streets and doing something fun and productive with their friends in a safe and supportive environment. With a bit of luck the 3Es club will help us find a talented crop of table tennis players good enough to represent Great Britain at forthcoming Olympic Games."

The club has been funded through Enfield 's Safer and Stronger Communities Board.
